About the 2025 Bond

During the August 12, 2025, Special Called Board Meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees called for a bond election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The bond package was structured to address four propositions: new campus construction, repairs and renovations to existing facilities, repairs to Traylor Stadium, technology equipment refresh, and a student device initiative. On November 4, 2025, Lamar CISD area voters approved three of the four bond propositions on the district’s 2025 Bond. All 2025 Bond projects are currently in the beginning stages. Proposition Overview

District residents approved the following propositions totaling $1,958,310,000. 

Proposition A: New Schools & Facility Improvements  

Proposition C: Technology Equipment Refresh 

Proposition D: Student Device Initiative

  • 7 New Elementary Schools

Technology Equipment Refresh
Estimated Cost: $44.1 Million

  • Replacement of student and staff laptops, desktops, iPads, and monitors no longer under warranty
  • Upgrades to Graphic Arts printing and production equipment

  • A laptop for every student in grades 3–12, used only during the school day
  • Devices will stay on campus and support digital instruction, STAAR testing, and technology readiness
