The Lamar CISD Communications Department is the official liaison between the media and all campuses, departments, and leadership across the district. We value transparent, timely, and accurate communication and are committed to facilitating media requests in a way that honors both the public’s right to know and the educational environment of our students and staff.
Below is helpful guidance for members of the media who wish to engage with LamarCISD.
When appropriate, the Communications Department will issue media advisories and press releases regarding district events, press conferences, or announcements. To be added to our media distribution list, please email Communications@LCISD.org with your contact details and areas of interest.
All media requests must be routed through the Communications Department.
Please email Communications@LCISD.org with your inquiry, and include:

Nature of your request (e.g., interview, statement, story coverage)
Deadline or desired timeline
Any specific campuses, individuals, or topics involved
We aim to respond to all requests promptly. For time-sensitive inquiries, please indicate that clearly in your subject line.
For the safety and security of our students and staff:
