Area Superintendent: Dr. Shannon Hood

About: Dr. Shannon Hood has more than 35 years of experience in education. She started her career at Lamar CISD as a student teacher, teacher, GT facilitator, assistant principal, and principal. Dr. Hood has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Houston and a doctorate from Texas A&M University.
