Kay Danziger is a retired 1st-grade teacher. She taught for 32 years in Lamar CISD, at Bowie, Navarro and Austin elementary schools.
Her three children grew up in Lamar CISD schools and graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School.
She has served on the Board of the Lamar Educational Awards Foundation (LEAF), served as President of Epsilon Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and as First Vice-President of Fort Bend County Retired Educators Association.
"After teaching for so many years with Lamar CISD I didn't want to just walk away from the District. As a Board Trustee, my decisions not only affect the families and personnel of today, but those of many years to come."
