Lamar CISD formed an attendance boundary committee (ABC) for the Randle High School / Wright Junior High Secondary Complex.

The Committee met from June through August to build a consensus on the zoning of Randle High School and Wright Junior High, located in the southern part of the District near the intersection of Minonite Road and Koeblen Road. The ABC will make a recommendation to the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees, which ultimately will make the decision on attendance zones.

The Board is scheduled to review and vote on the ABC recommendation at the Regular Board Meeting on August 20. Below you will find information on the zoning process. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact (832) 223-0330.



The Lamar CISD Board of Trustees has approved the new attendance zone for Tamarron Elementary, opening this August. Your student may have been impacted by the rezoning. Please review the Board-approved attendance boundary map below to see the impacted areas. The parent of any 3rd-grader rezoned from Huggins Elementary to Lindsey Elementary in 2017, has the option to declare which elementary campus they would like their child(ren) to attend—Tamarron or Lindsey via our “grandfathering” process. All current 4th-grade students at Lindsey Elementary also have the ability to remain at their current campus for the upcoming school year via our grandfathering process. Transportation will not be provided to any "grandfathered" student remaining at their 2019-2020 campus. The "grandfathering" application can be found in the front office at Lindsey Elementary (during normal business operations), or via the link below. The grandfathering application deadline has been extended until the end of the 2019-2020 school year. Please have all grandfathering applications completed and returned to the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education by June 4, 2020.
