Social Media Guidelines

Social media outlets allow Lamar CISD campuses and departments to engage with our community, share information, and exchange ideas. We both welcome and encourage comments and interactions on our official school district social media posts, however, we do reserve the right to disable commenting on a post or to delete/hide comments based on the following:

  • Comments must be related to the original school/district post.

  • No personal attacks, name-calling, or insulting statements toward anotherindividual.

  • No threats of physical or bodily harm.

  • No posts promoting violence or illegal conduct.

  • No lewd, vulgar, profane, or obscene posts.

  • No discriminatory or harassing comments.

  • No spam, including spam links and the same comment posted repeatedly.

  • No content promoting services or products.

  • No content promoting a political organization.

  • Additionally, any other content deemed inappropriate.

We will not edit comments to remove objectionable content, so please ensure that your comments contain none of the above.

Lamar CISD and its campuses reserve the right to delete individual comments or posts that violate the above guidelines without further notice.

While the district does monitor social media pages to the best of our abilities, we are not responsible for content generated by other users.

Questions you post for Lamar CISD may not always be answered on the social media page. If you have a question, please contact 832-223-0000 or email Info@LCISD.org
