Thomas Elementary teacher Shawna Myers was surprised on Dec. 15 by Smart Financial for winning the Heroes of Hope award for Lamar CISD. This award recognizes Fort Bend area educators who are making a difference in the lives of students during challenging times.
As Lamar CISD’s winner, Shawna received a check for $500, a $75 teacher supply gift card, a swag bag and more.
