The following dates are designated by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as STAAR testing days.
On all STAAR days, McNeill Elementary will observe a "Closed Campus." This means all visitors and volunteers will not be permitted on campus during the hours of 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
A Closed Campus allows us to maintain a secure testing environment for all students during STAAR. Parents may drop off lunches in the front office but due to the 4-hour test, designated lunch times will alter on each STAAR testing day.
May 14: Grade 3 & 4 Math, Grade 5 Math Re-Test
May 15: Grade 3 & 4 Reading, Grade 5 Reading Re-Test
May 16: Grade 5 Science
*Please note that make-up testing will occur on May 17 and 18. These dates are subject to becoming "Closed Campus" days as well, pending the amount of students needing to make up the test on each day.
