About Judge James C. Adolphus
Judge James C. Adolphus was born in Birmingham, Alabama on October 10, 1929. He attended the University of Texas, then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He completed Aviation Cadet Training and was a Lieutenant in the Air Force and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Texas State Guard. He resumed his studies at the University of Houston and had a successful career in oil and gas. Judge Adolphus served three terms as a City Councilman in Missouri City, Texas and thirteen years as a Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace. In 1998 he was elected as a Fort Bend County Judge. He was active in several organizations such as The Military of the Stars and Bars, The Sons of the American Revolution, Sugar Land Rotary Club and the Richmond Masonic Lodge.
