Astronotes for March 18, 2015

Mar 18, 2015 | Bud Whileyman

Our first grade is going to be performing next Tuesday at 1:15 pm and 7:00 pm.  Please come out to see this outstanding musical.  The students and Mrs. Brown, our choir teacher, have been working very hard to make this a first rate performance.

Kindergarten will be having their annual Farm and Ranch Day on Friday, March 27th.  This is a fun event for the students who will be able to see live farm animals.  Each station has a presenter to explain about the animals and how they are used on a farm or ranch.  This day is also the last day of the 3rd nine weeks.  Uniform dress is not required on this date since it is the last day of the current term.

As the school year starts winding down, teachers will try to schedule more events to keep students motivated.  Expectations have been very high this year for all students and some fun learning activities should give them some relief from the very rigorous curriculum.  We still want students to look forward to coming to school every day and we want them to feel that learning can still be fun.
