Lamar CISD’s Pamela Polk is a finalist for Region IV Elementary Teacher of the Year.
One elementary and one secondary teacher are chosen from the finalists to represent the area and compete against the other Texas Regions at the state level. Polk competed against from 47 other Houston-area district Teacher-of-the-Years to reach Finalist status.
Polk teaches at Frost Elementary, where she has been a part of the Instructional Leadership Team since 2007. She is a Master Teacher, helping teachers at Frost to grow professionally.
When not in the classrooms at Frost, you will find Polk supporting students by attending out-of-school events such as baseball and football games, recitals, confirmations and graduations.
