Principal- Les Crawley
Assistant Principal- Katherine Lange
Mrs. Katherine Lange is currently in her fourth year as Assistant Principal at George Junior High and has served Red Track students and their families for six years. Prior to joining LCISD, Mrs. Lange taught and was Special Education Department Chair at South Houston High School in Pasadena ISD. Joining Terry High School in 2017, Mrs. Lange taught English I, then transitioned to the role of College and Career Facilitator for the Class of 2019. Mrs. Lange has a passion for helping students see their potential, plan for their future, and dream big. In her twelve years in education, Mrs. Lange has led district trainings on best inclusion practices across the curriculum and differentiation strategies in the English Language Arts classroom. In June of 2022, she co-presented at the TASSP conference with Dr. Erin Forbes about the growth at George Junior High. Her goal for the upcoming school year is to continue to grow in her ability to foster growth and learning in students and teachers alike.
Mrs. Lange graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in English Literature. She received her Master's Degree in Education Administration from Houston Baptist University. Mrs. Lange is married to an LCISD teacher and has a daughter in LCISD schools. The entire Lange family is passionate about education and helping students succeed academically and emotionally. In her spare time, Mrs. Lange loves to travel, entertain friends and family, and bake.
Assistant Principal- Gabriel Torres
Mr. Gabriel Torres is currently in his 12th year with LCISD and 1st year as Assistant Principal at George Junior High. At the beginning of his career with LCISD, Mr. Torres taught Math, Computer Science, and coached Boys Soccer at George Ranch High School. Prior to joining the Red Track, Mr. Torres taught math at Fulshear High School for three years and became the Campus Testing Coordinator for the 2021-22 school year. Mr. Torres has a passion for helping students find their passion, create goals, and prepare themselves to explore the world. His goal for the upcoming school year is to continue to grow as an instructional leader to support the learning of students and teachers.
Mr. Torres graduated from Earlham College with a degree in Mathematics and minors in Physics and Pre-Engineering Studies. He received his Master’s Degree of Education in Administration & Leadership from Lamar University. Mr. Torres is married to an LCISD teacher and both of his parents work in LCISD schools. The entire Torres family is passionate about education and helping students succeed academically and emotionally. In his spare time, Mr. Torres loves to grill, enjoy time with family and friends, and play golf.
