A Message from your Principal....

Foster Family,

Graduation tickets were passed out to all seniors during lunch on Thursday the 27th.  If your student did not pick them up, they need to go by the front office during regular business hours.  All tickets must be signed for as proof of receipt.  Please ask for them from your senior this weekend.  We don’t want them lost in a backpack.

Each Senior gets two parking passes for graduation.  The district also has limited handicapped parking.  If you need handicapped parking, bring one of the two parking passes to the front office along with proof of handicapped parking and we will trade a pass out.  The pass will only get you access to the handicapped lot. Traditional handicapped signage is also required.

Finally, we want to congratulate our softball team for being undefeated District Champions and our baseball team for making the playoffs.  We hope to make a deep playoff run in both sports.

2024 Course Verification Information

Foster HS Families,

Verification letters were mailed to all students last week. These letters have your student's 23-24 course selections on the back side of the paper. If your student would like to make changes to their 23-24 courses, they will need to document any changes on that letter/form, both the student and parent will sign it, and your student must drop it off in the counseling office no later than Friday, May 12th!

After this deadline, we will be following the district schedule change procedures found on page 18 of the LCISD Course Catalog:

Let’s finish the school year strong, Falcons!

2023 - 2024 School Hours

As one of the fastest-growing districts in Texas, it is our responsibility to anticipate and respond to the needs of our students, parents, and staff – now more than ever.

With campuses stretched across 385 square miles, our families and staff have spent the last two years combatting bus driver shortages and long transit hours, and the challenges have only increased.

To alleviate these growing pains, our Trustees approved new school hours at the February board meeting. We have designed the following four-tier system, which will be implemented at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. This shift ensures that we have enough drivers for each route and eliminates the need for comeback routes.

7:15 AM to 2:40 PM Elementary (Group A)

7:45 AM to 3:10 PM Elementary (Group B)

8:25 AM to 3:50 PM High School

9:05 AM to 4:30 PM Middle School & Junior High

Our commitment to serve the community is strong. Thank you for staying engaged. Your involvement ensures that our District carries on a proud tradition of excellence.

Student parking is available at the campus for those who meet the parking requirements. Student pick-up is also located on campus. It has been brought to our attention that students are parking and being picked up at the shopping center parking lot next door. This is becoming very unsafe for the customers who are walking from their vehicle to their destination in that shopping center.

Beginning Monday, February 13, 2023, students may not walk to the shopping center to be picked up after school. In addition, students who park there will be subject to have their vehicle towed at the vehicle owner's expense. Thank you for your cooperation.

Powered by KEV Group, SchoolCash Online is the industry leader in the safe and secure management of school fees. This system puts all of the school-related fees for your student online for purchase. Schools post their items and activities and assign the relevant fees to your student, so you can then make purchases online using your credit card. This allows you to stay informed about upcoming school activities while keeping track of the school fees that require your attention.
