  • Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, preferably with pockets to secure keys and cell phone (turned off).
  • Due to artificial turf at Traylor Stadium, it is asked that high heels are not worn for safety reasons.
  • All Foster High School dress codes will be enforced. Please follow district policy regarding facial hair, unnatural hair color, and facial piercings. Anyone improperly dressed will not be allowed to participate in Graduation.
  • Only cords/collars issued by Foster High School will be allowed to be worn at graduation. The cords/collars allowed are only Honor, Service and Military cords; NHS collars and VAL/SAL stoles. Other organization cords are not allowed during the ceremony.

Be sure gowns are wrinkle free. Follow the directions for pressing included with your gown. DO NOT place an iron directly on the gown. Do not wait until the last minute to check your gown for wrinkles. Hanging your gown as soon as you receive it also helps.

Graduation caps must be worn far enough on the forehead to be level on top when graduate is standing straight. Bring bobby pins to secure caps. There is to be no writing or decorations on the caps. Tassels are worn on the right side of the cap.
