I hope to see many of you at our 1st annual Moonwalk and Fun Run this Saturday, March 5th. Participants will be lining up at the school to begin the 5K or 1K run through the Pecan Grove neighborhood. At last count I believe we were over 200 participants running/walking the course. Let’s all hope for good weather so the event will be an enjoyable one.
If you would like to be an officer or serve on a committee in the PTO for next year please signup using the PTO Board forms that should be included in this Astronotes. We are always looking for new people to become involved in our PTO. PTO does so many wonderful things for our school and this is your chance to be a part of a fun group of people who enjoy making our school a better place.
Next Friday, March 11th will be an early release day for the elementary schools in the district. Students will be released at 11:30 am. The following week will be Spring Break and then we have an early Easter break.
