We have a three day weekend coming up with Monday being a holiday celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  This Friday is the end of the 2^nd 9-weeks so students do not have to wear uniform dress.  The following Friday we will have our Celebration of Success Assemblies for the 2^nd 9-weeks.  The schedule for the assemblies remains the same with 8:15 for 4^th and 5^th grade, 9:15 for 2^nd and 3^rd grade, and 2:00 for Kindergarten and 1^st grade.  Life Skills will be celebrated at 8:15 and PPCD at 9:15.  We look forward to seeing you at your child’s assembly.

Extended day for grades 3-5 will be starting at the end of January and the beginning of February.  Each grade level will be notifying parents of students needing to attend. Times and dates will be included in the notification.

Class group pictures will be next Wednesday, January 21^st. We ask that students wear their uniform dress so that the class pictures will be more “uniform”. 

On January 28^th at 6:00 pm, Wessendorf will be hosting a Course selection Information meeting for this year’s 5^th grade students.  The 6^th grade campus will be explaining courses required and electives that may be chosen by the students.  I would recommend that all 5^th grade parents attend this meeting.

If your child is ill and will not be attending school, please call 832-223-1006 or email the nurse's office. A note from the parent must be turned in following any absence from school.


You may have noticed new signs in the afternoon at pick up time.  We are encouraging parents to use the cross walk area at the end of the drive so that children can cross with more safety.  Parents can wait for their children in the large concrete pad area at that end as well so that the area where children are waiting is not so congested.  The teachers can see the children easier and will be able to keep the line moving faster.  We thank you for your cooperation in this effort to keep everyone safe!
