As we begin getting closer to the Thanksgiving Holidays, many of our classes are doing activities that relate to this long-awaited holiday. Turkey posters, Pioneer Day, and a variety of other events are occurring daily. It is definitely a festive time at Austin Elementary School.
I enjoyed seeing many of our parents and relatives celebrating the success of our students this past Friday during our Success Assemblies. We are always proud of our students who do some great things during the course of the school year. Let’s have even more students recognized for their accomplishments in the next Success Assembly.
Our science lab looks like it is ready for student use. This has required a major reorganization of equipment and supplies. Many thanks to Debbie Hastedt for her efforts in making this room available for student and teacher use.
