Heather Williams
is transitioning to this role from her position as principal of Lindsey Elementary. She has 26 years of experience in education, including eight years of teaching experience, one year as a facilitator for gifted and talented, two years as a campus instructional technology specialist, four years as an assistant principal, and 11 years as a principal. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 1997. She received a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2008.

Benjamin Hernandez
 comes to us from Houston ISD. He has 25 years of experience in education, including 14 years of teaching experience, two years as a curriculum and instruction program manager, five years as a principal, three years as an executive director, and one year as a School Support Officer. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in May 2002. He received a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston in 2014, and he is currently working on his Doctorate degree from the University of Texas.

 

Dr. Marlon Waites is transitioning to this role from his position as one of our area superintendents. He has 17 years of experience in education, including five years of teaching experience, two years as an assistant principal, seven years as a principal, one year as the Director of Student Services, and two years as Area Superintendent. He graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering in December 2004. He received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University in 2010, and a Doctorate in Theological Leadership in 2011.
