On Thursday, November 14, the fourth grade students will be performing a patriotic program called “Freedom” at 8:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. in the gym. We will be honoring American heroes who have served our country as veterans, firefighters or police officers. During the program, our heroes will have the opportunity to come forward and be personally recognized.
We will also be presenting a PowerPoint presentation which will include pictures of veterans and first responders who are related to Campbell staff members and students. If you would like to submit a picture of a relative who is a veteran, firefighter or police officer, please scan and email the picture to Mrs. Austin at [email protected]. The deadline for submitting pictures is Friday, November 1, 2013.
When submitting pictures, please include the following information:
- Name of the person in the picture
- Line of service
- Name of Campbell student or staff member submitting the picture
- Campbell student or staff member’s relationship to the person in the picture
If you submitted a picture last year, you do not need to resubmit it. We will continue to use these pictures as long as the student still attends Campbell Elementary. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the program!
