  1. What is the Graduation Schedule?

  2. What time do graduates need to arrive their home campus and where do they go?

    All graduates must be bussed from their home campus to the stadium with their graduating class. Graduates can ride home with their families following the ceremony.  A shuttle bus will be provided for any graduates in need of a ride back to their home campus.

  3. What time does the stadium open for friends and family?

    Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. for those attending the graduation ceremonies each evening.

  4. What time do the shuttle buses run?

    The shuttles will run beginning at 6:45 p.m. They will continue to run until an hour after the ceremony concludes each night.

  5. Do we have to wear masks at graduation?

    Masks are not required for staff, students or guests attending graduation.

  6. What items are prohibited at the stadium? Is there a clear bag policy?

    There is not a clear bag policy, but there will be a bag check as you enter the stadium. You may not enter the stadium with any of the following items:

    • Outside Food or Drinks
    • Pets
    • Signs or Banners
    • Noisemakers
    • Balloons
    • Weapons of any kind
  7. Is there somewhere to drop off friends or family coming to the ceremony? 

    Yes, you may drop guests off at the front of Lamar Consolidated High School. Be aware, guests will still have to walk in order to get to the stadium from this drop off location.  Guests without parking passes are encouraged to ride the shuttle busses from Terry High School for door to door service. Guests without parking passes will not be permitted to turn onto Stadium Drive and enter the premises. 

  8. Can we get extra parking passes for graduation?

    There are no additional parking permits available at this time.

  9. Will there be drinks or snacks available at graduation?
  10. Yes, we will have cold drinks and snacks available for purchase at the concession stands on each side of the stadium.

  11. What age requires a ticket, does a lap child have to have a ticket for graduation?

    Anyone over the age of 2, or who will require their own seat at the stadium for graduation will need to have their own ticket to enter the stadium.

  12. Is there handicapped parking and seating available if needed for our guests?

    Yes, please contact your campus principal for details and limited special passes. Guests needing special accommodations can request a pass for reserved parking and/or seating for them plus one additional guest.

  13. May we bring cameras into the stadium and take pictures at graduation?

    Yes, guests are welcome to bring cameras and take pictures from the bleachers during the ceremony.  

  14. Will we be able to take pictures with our graduate on the field?

    Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow families and friends onto the field to take pictures with graduates before or after the ceremony. Professional photographs will be available for purchase if you are interested.

  15. Will the ceremonies be live streamed for friends and family who can’t make it?

    Yes, a link to watch each of the ceremonies will be posted on the District’s website at www.lcisd.org on the day of the ceremony.

  16. How long is the graduation ceremony?

    The ceremony is approximately (2) hours long.

  17. Where should we meet our graduate after the ceremony?

    At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates will leave the field through either the East or West field gates into the parking area. Please make plans of time to meet your graduate in the parking area for photos and to depart from graduation.

  18. Can we gather outside the stadium following the graduation ceremony?

    Congregation of groups after the ceremony is not allowed. Graduates and their families will continue their celebration at home.

  19. What happens if there is rain?

    In the case of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be rescheduled for the following morning at 9:30 a.m. Additional information will be available on the District website and will be sent via email if the ceremony must be rescheduled due to rain.

  20. What are the Graduate Guidelines?
    • Caps and gowns should be carried until the graduate has checked in at the designated entrance.
    • Decorations are not allowed on caps and tassels worn on the right side of the cap.
    • Due to the turf at Traylor Stadium, it is asked that heels are not worn for safety reasons.
    • Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, preferably with pockets to secure car keys and cell phones.
    • Cell phones must be turned off and not visible during the ceremony. No additional items will be permitted on the field.
  21. How will diplomas be distributed?

    Principals will be handing out diploma covers to students and shaking the graduate's hand.
