Valedictorian and Salutatorian for George Ranch High's Class of 2019

Graduation exercises for George Ranch High School's Class of 2019 will be held Thursday, May 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Merrell Center in Katy.

 Lauren Krouch

Lauren Krouch is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2019 at George Ranch High School.

The daughter of Kevin and Glenda Krouch, she will attend the University of Texas, majoring in Business. Upon receiving her undergraduate degree, Lauren has plans to attend law school.

While at George Ranch, Lauren was Vice President of Junior State of America, served as Treasurer of the National Spanish Honor Society, was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Math Honor Society, AAU Basketball, the varsity basketball team and participated in small groups at River Point Church.

Lauren looks forward to discovering a career she is truly passionate about and seeks to work each day toward being the best version of herself. She aims to continue to go out of her comfort zone to develop great experiences and relationships.

Reflecting on her high school experience and looking towards the future, Lauren leaves her classmates with her favorite quote: “What lies behind you and what lies before you are tiny matters compared to what lies within you.” – Unknown

 Graciela Liang

Graciela Liang is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2019 at George Ranch High School.

The daughter of Jeff and Pam Liang, she will attend Texas Christian University, majoring in Movement Science. She intends on pursuing a career in the medical field.

While at George Ranch, Graciela was the captain of the varsity swim and dive team and also competed for the Cougar Diving Club, the Bay Area All Stars Diving Team and the Greatwood Gators- where she also volunteered as a coach. She was a member of the National Honor Society, was actively involved in her church’s youth group and had a piece of her work auctioned off at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Throughout her life, she aspires to make a positive impact on as many individuals as possible.

Graciela’s advice to the Class of 2019 is to always work hard to achieve your goals and stay true to yourself.
