Lamar CISD’s Special Education Department hosted its first “Meet Me at the Pumpkin Patch” event this week for elementary students in the Pre-School Program for Children with Disabilities, Social Integration Program, Pegasus and Life Skills classes.
Approximately 420 students attended the event, which included games like pumpkin bowling, face painting, fall flavored snacks, a petting zoo and more. At the end of the event, each student took home their own pumpkin.
