Anderson fifth overall in State Academic Decathlon

Foster High’s Rebekka Anderson turned a medal-winning performance at the State Academic Decathlon competition.

 Her overall score ranked her 5th out of 90 students in the Honors (A level) division. In addition to finishing in the top 5, Anderson took gold medals in music and social science, silvers in economics and science and bronzes in literature, art and speech.

Foster’s Erek Jahn won a gold medal in interview in the Varsity Division (C division).

George Ranch High School’s Debbie Nehikhuere earned a silver medal in interview in the Scholastic Division. (B division)
Foster’s Madeline Martin won a bronze medal in literature in the Scholastic Division. 

Jacob Nowaczewski is the Academic Decathlon coach at Foster and Gene Eubanks is the coach at George Ranch.
