Social and emotional well-being is at the heart of the Lamar CISD Whole Child Safety and Wellness Model. In conjunction with our school counseling and nursing staff, Lamar CISD has multiple community partners that help support the mental and physical wellness of our students.

Partnerships with Memorial Hermann School Based Health Clinics provides robust physical and mental health support for our schools in the red and blue tracks, while Fort Bend Regional Council and Houston Galveston Institute offer expanded social and emotional assistance throughout the District.

This year, due to generous grant from the George Foundation, Lamar CISD will be able to expand mental health support and broaden the partnership with Houston Galveston Institute to provide direct student therapeutic access for all Lamar CISD campuses not supported by other community partners. Lamar CISD is committed to the whole child, and the social and emotional well-being of our students is a priority.
