District surveying parents, employees and students

Dec 05, 2016 | Community Relations
Every parent, employee and student has a voice in Lamar CISD’s ongoing pursuit of educational excellence.

The District is seeking  feedback about its schools, focusing on critical school issues such as academic preparation, student support, parent engagement, diversity, school operations and accessibility of school leaders.

Parents, campus-based employees and students, 5th-grade and up, are participating in the survey.

The survey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Parents with children in more than one school who would like to take the survey for each of their children may submit additional responses via the Your Voice page on the district website, or parents may click the link that appears on the thank you message once they have submitted this survey response to be directed to take the survey again. (Click here to go to the survey page.)

All answers are treated in a confidential manner. Data is viewed on a collective level only, so reports do not identify individuals. No one in the district will know who participated unless the person taking the survey identifies themselves in the space for open-ended comments.

After the survey closes, Lamar CISD will report the findings publicly, sharing what we have learned, and what specific changes you may anticipate as a result of the feedback.

Engaging in an ongoing dialogue is critical as we work together to provide our students with the best possible education.

The survey closes December 18.
