Days on Campus:

I am so excited to be a part of the Eagle family as the GT Facilitator at Meyer Elementary!
This is my 10th year teaching in LCISD, and I love seeing students have those "Aha!" moments when they learn something new! In GT enrichment classes, we will explore many topics while utilizing creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

A little bit about me...I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.  I am a native Houstonian who grew up in Fort Bend County! I love living and working in the greatest county in Texas! My daughter Ashlyn graduated from UT, and lives in NYC working in interior design, and my son, Ryan, is a junior at A&M. My husband, Scot, also works for LCISD as an Architect and Design Manager.

In my personal life, I love to travel and go on any type of adventure. It is my goal to one day visit every state in the United States. So far I have visited 37! I love sightseeing and visiting historical places.  I, also, am crazy about Disney and have gone there about 10 times!  Another one of my favorite things is exploring nature and gardening. Flowers and plants are my favorite!!

I’m looking forward to a fabulous year working with the Meyer Elementary staff and GT students!
