Teacher Profile

Ms. Kristine Bone
Art Teacher Elementary

My name is Kristine Bone, and I am the art teacher at Lindsey Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Communications, then returned to the University of Houston to receive my degree in Elementary Education.  I have been a 4th grade teacher and a GT facilitator at several schools in the district before becoming an art teacher.  I am looking forward to nurturing the creativity of the Lindsey Lions!

I live in Richmond with my husband Todd and my son Matt, who is a junior at Foster.  My daughter Sarah is a freshman at Stephen F. Austin State University majoring in Art.  I love watching football, shopping, reading, and baking.  Our family loves to travel, especially to our state and national parks.  I'm not typically an adventurous person except when my family takes a vacation.  Then we love to try new adventures like kayaking, white water rafting and zip-lining.

Art wish list:

paper plates (both Chinet and the super-cheap white ones, large and small)

condiment cups w lids

plastic shoe box-sized tubs

glue sticks

small hand mirrors

large and small pool noodles (1 of each)

heavyweight construction paper

blank newsprint or inexpensive manilla paper for free drawing
