On Nov. 29, Arredondo Elementary hosted a book signing for “SuperVan Tackles Cancer.” The book was co-written by former NFL player, Dominic Austin, and Arredondo fourth-grader, Van Johnson. Illustrations throughout the book were done by Terry High School students.

This dynamic duo knows the ins and outs of cancer all too well as they each have had their own personal journey with the disease. All the proceeds from the book will go to Dominic Austin's charity, Tackles4Cancer.
