Current Williams Elementary Principal Henva Medlow will be the first principal at Donald Carter Elementary when it opens in August. Carter Elementary is under construction in the Stone Creek Estates subdivision.

Medlow is a graduate of the University of Houston and earned her masters at University of Houston-Victoria. She became principal at Williams Elementary in 2013.

Prior to taking the helm at Williams, she served the school as assistant principal. She also served as an assistant principal, science specialist and teacher in Houston ISD.
