In Lamar CISD, the Naviance and Xello platforms are utilized to help students plan for their futures and provide guidance on post graduation career options. The Naviance software is used for our high school students, while our 6th - 8th graders use Xello.
Naviance is a college and career readiness technology platform used in all Lamar CISD high schools. Students use this software to explore career and college information, complete assessments about themselves and possible careers, search scholarships and apply to colleges. Lamar CISD is hosting upcoming Naviance Nights as an opportunities for high school parents to learn how to navigate Naviance to better support their students in career and college exploration. The Naviance Nights will be hosted as follows:
Foster High School | Jan. 30, 2020 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Fulshear High School | Feb. 3, 2020 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Lamar Consolidated High School | Feb. 22, 2020 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Terry High School | Feb. 24, 2020 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
George Ranch High School | Feb. 25, 2020 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
