!Thespian Troupe 2806!

During the Texas Thespian State Festival approximately the following LCHS students earned superior rankings, qualifying for Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska in June 2019:

Izzy Rioux/Raquel Portillo - Short Film (Animation) - In My Head
Leslie Green - Stage Management - Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka

And with a PERFECT SCORE from all three judges, sophomore Brianna Becerra was showcased on the main stage at closing ceremonies for Costume Design - She Kills Monsters.

In addition to these incredible National Qualifiers, we are also proud to announce that Jack Nguyen did the incredibly hard work of running for State Thespian Officer, with the hope of representing LCHS and Rosenberg at both the State and National levels, and HE WAS ONE OF 16 ACROSS THE STATE ELECTED! We are so honored and so excited for the incredible journey that lies ahead of him. Jack’s goal is to do the hard work this year both in Texas and at Nationals, and run for International Thespian Officer next year, representing the whole state of Texas across the country and the globe.
