At its regular March meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees proclaimed April 23-27 to be Educational Administrative Professionals Week in Lamar CISD.
Educational administrative professionals are valuable members of educational teams in schools and contribute in many ways beyond their traditional function as an administrative assistant.
Their assistance is invaluable in the daily activities of a school campus and the
administrative operations of Lamar CISD. Educational administrative professionals provide support for students and staff and are charged with providing accurate record-keeping services, which is highly important in an educational environment.
Educational administrative professionals serve as trusted communicators with parents and community members and their connection to the community fosters positive public relations for the District.
