This summer, LCISD Library Services is kicking off a new summer reading initiative at all of our elementary campuses. We are encouraging all students to read 20 minutes a day, five days week, to total over 1,000 minutes per student of reading this summer. Our District goal is to read a combined total of over 8 MILLION MINUTES!
To support this goal, elementary campus libraries will be open for two hours each week of the summer. Students will continue to be able to check out books as well as participate in fun and engaging activities all summer long. To view the calendar of when your campus is open, click here.
