Tomorrow we will be having “Toro” the Houston Texan mascot here at Austin Elementary School. His presentation will be an anti-bullying message. We will take the “bull out of bullying”. Since the entire school will be in the gym for the presentation we will not have room for parents or other adults to attend the performance. To show Toro our support of the Houston Texans we are asking all staff and students to wear a Texan jersey or shirt. Students choosing not to wear the Texan shirts will be required to wear their normal uniform dress.
Friday, October 27th will be the last day of the first nine weeks. This is also an early release day and students will be dismissed at 11:30. We want to give you enough advanced notice so that you can make arrangements for your child’s afterschool care. Have a great weekend!
