Our district is recognizing September as Childhood Cancer Awareness month. This Friday, September 22nd, we would like to recognize one of our former students who was diagnosed with cancer on this date. Morgan Jones always displayed a positive attitude in dealing with this deadly disease. We would like to “Go Gold” for Mojo Day this coming Friday. We are asking all students and staff to wear gold (or yellow if you don’t have gold) in honor of Morgan and all children that have dealt with cancer. We would like to take pictures of students and staff to display on Mojo’s Miracle Facebook page to show our school’s support.
This week we will be starting to count tardies for students that are not in their rooms by the 7:30 tardy bell. It is important for students to arrive on time so they can start their day off as normal as possible. We appreciate your efforts to make sure your child gets to school on time.
We had a successful Curriculum Night last night for K - 2nd grades and many parents attended, and this Thursday we hope to see our 3 - 5th grade parents here as well!
