Astronotes for February 15, 2017

Feb 15, 2017 | Bud Whileyman

We had quite a storm come through our area this Tuesday.  We were fortunate that we did not sustain the damage that some of the homes on the south side of town did.  When we have severe weather in our area we will always try to be cautious and make good decisions to keep our students safe.  We always get many phone calls wanting to know what we are doing to protect the children.  We will always proceed on the side of caution without overreacting.  We will also try to keep our communications going out to our parents so you will know what is going on.  If you do have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to call us.

This Friday will be an early release day for the students.  School will be dismissed at 11:30 so please make arrangement for your child to be picked up if not riding the bus.  Also Monday, President’s Day, is a student holiday.  Teachers and staff will be attending in-service throughout the district.
