REGISTRATION INFORMATION

STEP 2: Contact our school to schedule an appointment (832-223-1000)


Make sure to provide the following necessary registration documents:

  • Proof of Residence: parent/legal guardian’s current utility bill (gas/water/electric)
  • Parent/guardian’s picture ID
  • Student’s birth certificate
  • Immunization Record
  • Final report card from previous school for grades 1-5 showing your child has advanced to the next grade level 

*** If you prefer, you may submit all documents electronically to rachel.falcon@lcisd.org scanned/PDF copies are preferred. If sending cell phone pictures, make sure the pictures are clear and not blurry.

    Student Dress Code

    TOPS:
    - Red, White or Navy Blue collared shirt (no logos and no hoods)
    - Austin Elementary spirit shirts (purchased from PTO) 

    BOTTOMS:
    - Khaki, Navy, Black or Denim pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers
    - Denim blue jeans must be plain with no pictures, embroidery, designs or words other than the brand name in the waist area and must comply with the LCISD dress code regulations.

    If you would like a referral form to nominate your child for the 2022-2023 LCISD GT program, please contact Saundra Pletka at spletka@lcisd.org.  Be sure to include name, school, grade level, and teacher in the email.  A form must be on file by December 17, 2021 to screen your child for the 2022-2023 school year.   Kindergarten students do not need to be referred, as all students are screened for the program.

    Lamar CISD Superintendent to receive award from the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS)

    (Rosenberg, Texas)     – Lamar CISD Dr. Roosevelt Nivens has been named the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS) Latino Serving Superintendent of the Year for 2022-2023.

    In the announcement shared by ALAS, Dr. Nivens was chosen for the award due to his   bold and unwavering leadership for placing  the health and well-being of students and staff above all else.

    “Dr. Nivens is a champion who places student safety, high academic achievement, and student social-emotional wellbeing as priorities, which is a testament to the aligned vision, mission, and goals of ALAS,” Dr. Maria Armstrong, ALAS Executive Director, said.

     

    Dr. Nivens is set to receive the award during the ALAS Opening Ceremony and General Session on October 5, 2022, at the La Concha Hotel and Resort, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
