Valedictorian and Salutatorian for George Ranch High's Class of 2021

    May 14, 2021 | Community Relations

Graduation exercises for George Ranch High School's Class of 2021 will be held Saturday, May 22, at 8 p.m. at Traylor Stadium.

    hiresCameron Krouch VAL

    Cameron Krouch
is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2021 at George Ranch High School.

The son of Glenda and Kevin Krouch, he will attend Stanford University, majoring in Computer Science and Theatre. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Cameron has plans to work as a software engineer.

While at George Ranch, Cameron was the president and founder of Junior State of America and the English Honor Society. He also participated in TSA, Student Council, Varsity Theatre and the Math Honor Society. Outside of school, Cameron volunteered at River Pointe Church and with the Houston Food Bank.

While at George Ranch, Cameron was recognized multiple times for his academic achievements. The most notable included being selected as a National AP Scholar, a National Merit Commended Scholar and as a candidate for the United States Presidential Scholarship.

Cameron aspires to use his technical experience and what he’s learned from volunteering at the Houston Food Bank to develop software that facilitates the analysis and distribution of food. He said he hopes to work for a company that brings joy to others and allows them to connect. Ultimately, Cameron says he wants to be a positive influence to others and support the arts, and hopes to provide for a family in the way his family provided for him.

Reflecting on his high school experience and looking towards the future, Cameron encourages his classmates to live in the moment and always thank the people who have enabled you to be where you are today. Leaving GRHS with the fondest of memories, Cameron will never forget the teachers and who uplifted him and shaped him into who he is today. He leaves his fellow Longhorns with his favorite quote: “A person should set his goals as early as he can and devote all his energy and talent to getting there. With enough effort, he may achieve it. Or he may find something that is even more rewarding. But in the end, no matter what the outcome, he will know he has been alive.” – Walt Disney

     hiresStefan Pham SAL

Stefan Christopher Pham is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2021 at George Ranch High School.

The son of Agnieszka Pham and Gia Pham, he will attend the University of California at Berkley, majoring in Physics.

While at George Ranch, Stefan was involved in NHS, the Spanish Honor Society, Student Council and was the president of the Math Honor Society. Additionally. Stefan was also recognized as a National AP Scholar and National Merit Commended Scholar.

As his life goes on, Stefan aims to explore the frontiers of science and be an active participant in philanthropy work. When asked to give advice to his fellow graduates, Stefan states that his fellow classmates should always bet on themselves and pursue whatever their most passionate about. He leaves his fellow Longhorns with his favorite quote: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take’ – Wayne Gretzky”- Michael Scott
