Waddill to lead Huggins Elementary

At its regular July meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees approved Doug Waddill as the principal at Huggins Elementary. He has a bachelor’s degree in Music from Harding University and his master’s degree in Administrative and Supervision from the University of Houston.

He has seven years of teaching experience in Fort Bend ISD and Lamar CISD, one year of administrative experience in the private sector and three years of administrative experience in Brenham ISD. Most recently, Waddill has served as the assistant principal at Velasquez Elementary, beginning with the 2010-2011 school year.
