Three Lamar CISD students are finalists in the National QuestBridge Scholar Program.

Terry High School’s Romeesa Khan, George Ranch High School’s Omolara Olabisi and Foster High School’s Zhi Wei Liang, all seniors, are all finalists.

Founded in 1994, QuestBridge is a national nonprofit based in Palo Alto, Calif. that connects the nation’s most exceptional youth with leading colleges and opportunities. By working with these students — beginning in high school through college to their first job —QuestBridge aims to increase the percentage of talented students attending the nation’s best colleges and to support them to achieve success in their careers and communities.

Universities and colleges in the QuestBridge program include Brown, California Institute of Technology, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, MIT, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Princeton, Rice, Stanford, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Washington and Lee and Yale.
