Roundup for Pre-K and Kindergarten on the horizon

Mar 27, 2018 | Community Relations

Lamar CISD's annual Pre-K/Kindergarten Roundup will be April 23-27. Parents are encouraged to beat the rush and register their children in advance of the coming school year.

Registration will be held at every Lamar CISD elementary school. Click here if you aren’t sure to which school your child is zoned.

 Why enroll your child in Pre K?

 Studies show that kids who attend Pre-K are:

  • Three times more likely to be ready for kindergarten;
  • More likely to succeed in school;
  • More likely to go to college; and
  • Less likely to drop out of school.
