At its February meeting, the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees passed a resolution proclaiming March 5-8 as Education Diagnosticians’ Week in Lamar CISD.
Diagnosticians play an important role in the educational, social and emotional development of children. Diagnosticians use specialized training to identify learning disabilities and recommend appropriate special education intervention for students, providing the leadership in working with parents, teachers and other professionals to develop a coordinated program for students with special needs.
