My name is Tanaka Dixon, and I am CHARGED UP and ready to begin my 19th year of teaching. I am elated to be teaching at Dean Leaman Junior High School in my hometown of Fulshear, Texas. I am a product of Lamar CISD and a graduate of Houston Baptist University (Go Huskies!). As a dedicated natural born teacher, I strive to make a positive impact on my students. My desire is to build lifelong learners that will ultimately acquire the love for LEARNING and READING! I believe that all students can learn, and if my students don't learn the way I teach, then I must teach the way they learn! Life is precious, and I enjoy every moment to the fullest by living, loving, and laughing. Every day is a new gift! My life is centered around my family, faith, fun, and of course teaching! I look forward to have an amazing CHARGED UP - CHARGER YEAR!
