John M. Arredondo Elementary School will open this fall and the new attendance zone may impact Beasley, Hutchison, Meyer and Thomas elementary schools for the 2015-2016 school year. The Lamar CISD Attendance Boundary Committee (ABC)—made up of community members—will make its zoning recommendation to the Lamar CISD Board of Trustees for new attendance boundaries.
The ABC is seeking input from families living in the affected areas before it makes its final recommendation to the Board of Trustees. A public input meeting will be held Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Graeber Auditorium at Terry High School, located at 5500 Avenue N in Rosenberg.
