Teacher Profile

Ms. Shara Carlson
Science Teacher Hs

I was born & raised in El Campo, TX, and have two younger brothers.  I now live in Richmond with my husband and our son.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, anything outdoors and absolutely LOVE traveling!

I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Justice of Forensic Science.  I also attended graduate school at SHSU where I earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with teacher certification and a minor in Biology.  I started teaching at Foster High School in August 2007 and have loved every second of it!!

I currently teach Pre-AP Biology, Forensic Science and AP Biology 2.  I enjoy these classes so much as well as the students who take them!  Not only am I teaching them, they also tend to teach me a thing or two!
