During the second nine weeks, grades K-5 will be reading nonfiction and using nonfiction sources to research a topic. Campbell teachers are seeking your help with finding quality nonfiction reading sources to use with building research skills. If you have children’s magazine subscriptions saved at home, and would not mind donating them, we are happy to accept them. Some examples of some useful titles would be National Geographic Kids/Little Kids, Your Big Backyard, Time for Kids, Highlights, and Ranger Rick/Ranger Rick Jr. If you have subscriptions not listed here, contact your child’s teacher to inquire if they would be appropriate for the class needs. Magazines can be delivered to your child’s teacher, or to Amy Shepard, the campus reading facilitator for distribution to appropriate grade levels. We thank you for your continued support.
