The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th grade B girls basketball team beat Clute Intermediate this week. The final score was 29-18. Top scorers for the Lady Eagles were; Jonice Arnold with 7 points, Taylor Clark with 4 points, Kylie Stamper with 4 points, Amatiah Kendrick with 2 points, Alexis Obialo with 2 points, Mya Henry with 2 points, Riley Carrol with 2 points, Maya McDowell with 2 points and Kiley Smink with 2 points. The Lady Eagles improve to 6-1 in district play.

The Briscoe 8th Grade Lady Eagles A girls basketball team brought a win home Thursday night against Clute Intermediate 46-15. Scoring for the Lady Eagles were Alicia Blanton with 22 points, Gabrielle Hamilton with 12 points, Jenay Garcia with 8 points, Marin Stephan with 4 points, Yamila Mello with 2 points, and Amanda Allen with 1 point. Defensive players of the game were May Tipton and Rayne Althaus. The Lady Eagles improve to 7-0 in district play.

The Briscoe 8th grade boys B basketball team won its seventh game of the season last night with a 60-20 victory over Clute JH. The Eagles were led in scoring by Tyler Onyedim and Vance Ostera with 10 points each. Also adding to the score was Jordan Faltine and Sam Afowowe each with 7 points, Patrick Moore and Austin Mitchell with 6 points, Neil Chidiac, Peyton Heckard, Tanner Harmening and Lance Lemos each with 2 points. The Briscoe 8th Grade B Team is 7-0 on the season.

Leading scorers for the game were Ruben Fathere with 17 points, Demari Williams with 14 points, Justice Ugo with 11 points and Jacobi Williams with 10 points. Also adding to the score was Richard La Mothe with 6 points, Jaden McCardell with 5 points, Will Lewis with 4 points and Udoka Ezeani with 2 points.
