Briscoe Volleyball Dominates Freeport

The Briscoe Lady Eagle 7th B volleyball team fell short to Freeport last night in a two game match, despite playing hard and giving a great effort. The Eagles lost 15-25 and 18-25. Top servers were Katie Hendrix and Sydney Yeverino. The Eagles fall to 4-2 in district play.

The Briscoe 7th grade A volleyball team took home a win in three sets against Freeport Intermediate last night. The Lady Eagles dominated the first set 25-16. Leading the team in serves were Allison Isbell, Kamryn Williams, and Ellen Fairfield. Defensive players in the first set were Raven Jordan, Kalani Relatores, and Eliana Zepeda. The girls fell short in the second set 24-26; however, they came back to win the third set 25-21. Leading the team in serves for the second set was Ariana DeLeon, Talor Rich, Shaelyn Bristol, and Eliana Zepeda. Defensive players were Laila Hansen, Olivia Barron, and Lakria Addison. The Lady Eagles are 5-1 in district play.

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8B volleyball team took the win last night against Freeport Intermediate in two games. The score of the first game was 25-14. The Lady Eagles made a comeback in the second game to win it 25-21. Outstanding offensive players of the night were Taylor Clark, Maya McDowell, Alexis Obialo, and Amanda Allen. Defensive players of the game were Kiley Stamper, Maliah Somersall, Lilli Greenwood, and Taylor Clark. The Lady Eagles improve to 5-1 in district play.

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th A volleyball team defeated Freeport in two games 25-16 and 25-15. Offensive players for the Lady Eagles were, Lauren Limas, Logan Jordan, Janie Herring, Mackenzie Palmer, Catrina Kearns, and Annie Creery. Defensive players for the Lady Eagles were Annie Creery, Riley Carroll, Lauren Limas, and Karly Hardin. The Lady Eagles improve to 5-1 in district play.
