The Briscoe 8th grade C football team defeated the Lake Jackson Cougars 14-0. Scoring for the Eagles was Michael Henderson with a 20 yard touchdown run. James Talley connected with Ben Osueke on a 20 yard pass for a touchdown. Other offensive leaders were Dane Johnson, Eli Zepeda, Mario Lerma, and Atly Wright. Defensive leaders were Jorge Galvan, Jason Garza, Chris Duncan, and Nathaniel Demafiles with n interception. The Eagles improve to 1-0 in district play.

The Briscoe 7th Grade C team defeated the Panthers from Lake Jackson by the score of 31-6. Scoring offensively for the Eagles were Peyton Schlitt with one touchdown and Braden Albright with two. Adding defensive touchdowns were Schlitt and Albright again. Adding an extra point was Nicholas Arellano. Ezekiel Cerda and Eric Romo were outstanding defensive players of the game. Zane Richter was the outstanding lineman of the game. The Eagles improve to 1-0 in district play.
