The Briscoe Eagles 7th grade B basketball team defeated the El Campo Ricebirds Monday night by a score of 31-14. Scoring for the Eagles on offense were Wade Faith who scored 9 points, Jayden McCardell and Ethan Kappes who scored 4 points each, Julian Salienas who scored 3 points, Chase Cloud, Cayden Redmond, Phillip Sameniego, and Gerald Wilson who scored 2 points each, and Lane Krenek, Jordan Faltine, and Trevor Hobbs who scored 1 point each. Defensive leaders for the team were Richard Marriott, Daniel Sanders, Gerald Wilson, and Phillip Sameniego. The Eagles 7th grade B team finished in second place with an overall record of 7-4 and 4-1 in district play.

The Briscoe 8A Eagles basketball team beat El Campo 40-30. Scoring for the Eagles were Da'lun Terrell with 8 points, Shemar Jones with 7 points, Jorrin Thompson and Dasoni Frasier with 6 points, Adam Ghannam and Jonathan Davidson with 4 points each, Vince Hernandez with 3 points, Jaylen Oliver with 2 points. Defensive players of the game were Eric Self and Daniel Hernandez. The 8A Eagles end the season in third place with a 7-4 overall record and 3-2 in district play.

The Briscoe 8B Eagles boys basketball team beat El Campo 55-50. Scoring for the Eagles were Garrett George with 19 points, Tanner Haynes with 10 points, Carter Wilson and Brandon Tobar with 5 points each, Richie Rich and Leonard Smith with 4 points each, Jharvis Davis with 3 points, Jared Martin and Paul Guevara with 2 points each, and Marcus Mehaffey with 1 point. Defensive players of the game were Wyatt Radcliff and Bryce Luster. The 8B Eagles end the season 5-6 overall and 3-2 in district play.
