The Briscoe Lady Eagles 7th grade B basketball team lost to Reading 8-22. Defensive players for the Lady Eagles were Taylor Clark, Kylie Stamper, Mya Henry, Riley Carrol, and Chloe Camden. Scoring for the Lady Eagles were Kiley Smink with (3) points, Alexis Obialo and Jordyn Watson with (2) points each, and Taylor Clark (1) point. The Briscoe Lady Eagles now stand 4-1 in district play.

The Briscoe 7th grade Lady Eagles A team beat Reading Junior High 41-11 on Thursday night. The leading scorer was Alicia Blanton with 23 points. Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Kylie Ashman with 6 points; Jenay Garcia with 4 points; and Madison Outhier, Gabby Hamilton, Marin Stephan, and Amanda Allen with 2 points each. Defensive players of the game were Madison Outhier, Jonice Arnold, and Madison Werner. The Lady Eagles are now 10-0 overall and 4-0 in district play. Our final game of the season is at El Campo on Monday, February 1st.

The Briscoe Lady Eagles 8th grade B team lost to Reading Jr High last night 29-11. Scoring for the Eagles were Lia Castillo, Elsie Cheramie, Alex White, and Ajene Robichaux. The Lady Eagles are currently in second place in district play.

The Briscoe 8th grade A team lost their first district game last night to Reading Junior High. Sharlyne Dimalanta led the team in points with 8 points, Jada Morrow, Jonisha Williams and Janella Alfred all had 2 points. The lady eagles are 4-1 in district and now in second place.
